Trucker the Terrier
As a miniature Bull Terrier, Trucker can be quite the determined hunter, especially after isolating from the pandemic.
“I was at home as usual letting the dogs out to the back yard,” said Deborah, Trucker’s owner. “We have not been going to our usual outings because of COVID-19,” but quarantine or not, Trucker was eager to explore.
About 20-30 minutes after letting Trucker out to use the bathroom, Deborah’s phone pinged with a text message from AKC Reunite. Trucker had somehow escaped and ended up in a neighbor’s yard digging for treasure!
“Trucker had escaped somehow and went one block over to a neighbor’s [house]. They saw his tag and called AKC Reunite,” said Deborah. “I was so happy, and they were very nice. I don’t know what I would have done if something happened to my best friend! I’m so happy to have him home!”
