Let’s help keep pets out of shelters

Did you know the pets you microchip have triple the chance of being reunited with their owners if they end up in a shelter!

Even with these promising odds, an estimated 10 million pets go missing each year and our nation’s shelters are full, adoption rates are dropping, and resources are tapped.

Good Samaritans Help
With Happy Reunions Every Day

  • Helpful neighbors call the number on the lost pet’s collar tag. They will also go the extra step and take the pet to a vet clinic or call animal control for the pet to be scanned for a microchip.
  • But clinics are not always open, and Animal Control Officers have large jurisdictions and cannot be everywhere at once.
How great would it be if the general public had access to microchip scanners to help reduce intake numbers?
