Clever Pup Lets Herself Out

REUNITED: In a few hours

Many thanks to Maureen N for sharing her reunion experience with AKC Reunite.  Her dog, “Cassie got outside by opening the back door herself! She then sneaked out the gate in our townhouse yard while I was working along the side of the house. It was not too long when I realized she was not inside when I saw the back door was open.”

Understanding Cassie was now missing, Maureen quickly jumped into recovery mode. “I asked my Bible Study friends to pray while I was looking for her, and I also called my husband who was walking in the neighborhood.”

While Cassie’s owners were on the lookout, “a kind man, Sebastian, found her at the shopping area very close to home (she is very social) and called in her chip number from the tag on her harness. Right after he called, my husband saw Cassie and walked up to them and retrieved her! This was just before I called Sebastian from the wonderful text I got from AKC Reunite!”
