"AT HEALTH CLINICS WE SCAN EVERY DOG BEFORE EACH TEST. WE WILL MICROCHIP IF ONE ISN'T FOUND SO ALL TEST RESULTS CAN BE VERIFIED.”

AKC Reunite Pet Microchips

MICROCHIPS ARE REQUIRED FOR HEALTH TESTING

If you will be holding a health clinic, it is extremely important that you verify your show veterinarian has a universal microchip scanner.

An outdated scanner is a disservice to every animal and owner. Examples of Universal Scanners that will read all microchips currently sold in the US (125.kHz, 128 kHz, International/134.2 kHz): AKC Reunite Scanners, HomeAgain Universal Worldscan (except version PKC1); IMAX 5; IMAX Black Label.

MICROCHIPS AS A CLUB MEMBER BENEFIT

“As a national rescue network, through our parent club, we can secure the lowest price on microchips available for all of our members. AKC Reunite worked with us to ensure all those associated with BCARN and BCA had access to affordable microchips.”

~Stefanie Light, Bulldog Club of America Rescue Network

K9 MATCHING GRANT PROGRAM

AKC Reunite works with AKC Clubs to donate K-9 police dogs to police departments around the United States. Many police department K-9 units are suffering budget cuts and they are unable to solicit money due to town and municipality codes. The donations from AKC Reunite and AKC Clubs allow the police department’s need for a new K-9 to become a reality.
