Trust AKC Reunite for your Practice

Dedicated sales support

With AKC Reunite, you will be assigned a dedicated microchipping program consultant.  Your consultant will be there to help you maximize your microchipping program’s success for your veterinary practice.  Our office hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST. We pride ourselves on our commitment to quality client care and strive to quickly and efficiently assist with you with any questions that ever may arise regarding your microchipping program.

The best service and value for your clients

Once your client registers their pet’s microchip with AKC Reunite’s lost pet recovery service, they will receive uninterrupted, around-the-clock, lost and found assistance.  Pet Emergency Team specialists are ready to help lost pets any time – day or night via our toll-free PET Line.  Our toll-free PET Line is included with every microchip enrolled with AKC Reunite – with no annual fees or additional fees to speak with a live agent.

If your clients are asking you about annual fees charged by other microchip companies, like HomeAgain, Datamars and 24 Petwatch, they can register their pet’s microchip with no annual fees with AKC Reunite. Annually, we also send out an Anniversary Email, reminding pet owners to double-check their pet records and ensure their contact information is up to date. And, as a proud participant in the American Animal Hospital Association’s petmicrochiplookup.org, the trusted resource for animal shelters, rescues and veterinarians to help reunite pet’s with their owners.

Giving back is what we do

As a 501c3 helping pets is all that we do.  AKC Reunite is the nation’s largest not for profit pet identification and 24/7 recovery service provider. Our mission is to keep pet microchipping and enrollment straight-forward and affordable so more lost pets can be reunited with their families.

Our Canine Support and Relief Fund is a permanent charitable fund proactively supporting the needs of volunteer Canine Search and Rescue organizations and aiding our nation’s pets with life-saving disaster relief and resources during hurricanes, tornadoes, floods and wildfires.  Our Fund also donates microchip scanners to local municipalities, rescues and animal shelters to help Reunite pets with their owners.

AAHA provides an internet-based application that enables veterinarians, humane organizations, pet owners or other persons to search various Pet Recovery Service registries and identify those registries on which a particular microchip is registered. AAHA is not affiliated or involved with any specific microchip registry and has no relationship, financial or otherwise, with this Participating Pet Recovery Service Registry (“Registry”). This Registry has given AAHA permission to search the Registry’s database in order to assist pet owners in being reunited with their pets. AAHA does not maintain a database of microchips of its own. It only links to registries such as this one. The AAHA Universal Microchip Lookup Tool only searches the databases of companies that elect to participate in the program.
