Don’t forget AKC Reunite microchips when planning a health testing clinic! Offering microchipping on-site helps health clinics reach more pets.

There are various microchip kHz frequencies in our nation’s pets – ISO/134.2, 128, and 125 (encrypted and unencrypted). Make sure you don’t miss a chip by having a Universal microchip scanner, like the ProScan +Temp.

Pets without microchips can be chipped and tested during the same visit, making participation easier for pet owners and improving clinic efficiency. Having microchips on hand is also helpful if the microchip cannot be detected. Please make sure BOTH microchips are listed on the testing certificates.

If you are hosting OFA or CAER clinic, you will need to read and record microchip numbers that are already implanted. If you need a universal scanner that can read all microchip frequencies, contact AKC Reunite for special discounts on scanners.
