Adventurous Kai the Australian Cattle Dog
Kai, the Australian Cattle Dog, jumped the fence eager to join a runner passing by on his afternoon workout. Thankfully, a good Samaritan nearby collected the runaway dog and had his AKC Reunite microchip scanned!
“Kai jumped the fence and began running down the street alongside a runner,” said Sarah, Kai’s owner. “A good Samaritan [driving by] stopped to ask if the dog running [behind the runner] was his.”
In no time at all, the good Samaritan coerced Kai into the car and drove him to the nearest animal hospital to check for a microchip!
“I received an email, text, and phone call [from AKC Reunite] all within moments of each other, and before I even knew he had escaped!”
