Answers to the most common questions about AKC Reunite’s collar tags and dog collars.
AKC Reunite has a wide array of collar tag options that you can choose from. You can choose your style of tag and have the option to add your pet’s name to the tag on many of our designs, too. You can check out our wide array of Pet ID options and order a replacement tag here or through your ORS Account. Or you can call 800-252-7894 for assistance.
The plastic tag that came with your pet’s microchip provided immediate identification but is not a long term, durable tag.

The tag you ordered from us is guaranteed for 18 months. If your pet’s tag is defective, please call us at 800-252-7894 or email tags@akcreunite.org and we can place a warranty order for a new tag. After receiving your warranty order confirmation, we will email you a shipment confirmation in 3-5 business days to let you know that your new tag has shipped.
On eligible enrollments, an AKC Reunite collar tag will be sent to you. We will email you a shipment confirmation within 3-5 business days of your order receipt. If two weeks have passed since receiving your shipment confirmation email and you have not received your pet’s collar tag via USPS, please call us at 800-252-7894.
Collar Tags and Reflective Collars ship via USPS within 3-5 business days. You should receive a shipment confirmation email from tags@akcreunite.org when your Collar Tag/Collar ships and receive the product within 21 days of placing your order.
If you have not received your Collar Tag/Collar after 21 days, please contact us at 800-252-7894 with your pet’s ID number and your mailing address so we can research the status of your order.
Our silencers are not yet available by themselves on our website. You may call us any time at 800-252-7894 to order the correct silencer to go with the tags you have.
