Welcome Home, Mr. Chips!

REUNITED: In a few hours

Many thanks to Debra from Fort Morgan, Colorado for sharing Mr. Chips the Scottish Terrier’s reunion story.  His collar tag that was included with his AKC Reunite microchip turned out to be his lucky charm to help get him back home!

“Mr. Chips and his best friend, Sadie, had a big adventure. I’m sure that they lived every dog’s dream. They got to chase the sanitation truck down the alley, and ride in the sanitation truck all the way back down the street. They escaped from the back yard when our gate didn’t latch correctly. They were gone about 20 minutes when the escape was discovered. Fortunately, the attraction of the sanitation truck slowed the escape. We are so grateful to the driver who stopped and loaded them into the truck and to our neighbor who saw the AKC reunite tag on Mr. Chips and reported them gone. It could have been a real disaster, but it wasn’t thanks to the kindness of others. Mr. Chips and Sadie are unrepentant. They wanted their adventure to last longer.”
