Host a Microchipping Clinic

Hosting a microchipping clinic is a fun fund-raising event attracting local animal lovers to your organization while helping protect the pets in your community!

Drive-Thru clinics keep everything organized and ensure pets are safe and contained.

  • Where local microchipping statutes and guidelines allow, talk to your County Manager or local school’s Principal about hosting a weekend event at their site.
  • These locations are ideal since they are already staged for a Drive-Thru format because of prior Covid testing and weekday carpool drop-off lanes!

Want to get started? Please call 800-252-7894 or email microchip@akcreunite.org. We are here to help! Our Microchip Sales Team Office Hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 am to 5 pm EDT.

Health Testing And
AKC Reunite Microchips

Planning a health clinic? Don’t forget AKC Reunite microchips! Offering microchipping makes health clinics more successful so dogs without microchips can still be tested after they are microchipped on site. Having microchips on hand is also helpful if a microchip cannot be detected for some reason – just make sure BOTH microchips are listed on the testing certificates.

Please note: If you are holding OFA or CAER clinics and need to read and record the actual microchip numbers already implanted, you need a universal scanner that can read all microchip frequencies, including ISO microchips, like the AKC Reunite ProScan 700.
