Billy the Pit Bull Terrier
An open RV Gate was all the encouragement Billy needed to go exploring in his Arizona neighborhood. Thankfully, his stroll only lasted about 10 minutes before Billy was scanned for a microchip.
“Billy got through the RV Gate that wasn’t latched correctly” said Carrie, Billy’s owner. “He wondered over a couple of streets and a new couple to the neighborhood spotted him.”
Billy is a registered emotional support companion, and his love for people, and his sweet disposition, convinced the new neighbors that he must be from a loving home and needed to get back!
“[The good Samaritans] took him to nearest hospital to be scanned and I was called immediately,” said Carrie. “Billy was safely returned all within 20 minutes of him getting out. I’m impressed with AKC Reunite and I highly recommend people microchip their pets!”
