Arlo the Escape Artist!

REUNITED: In a few hours

As a frequent flyer, Arlo the Beagle, was recently AKC Reunited with the help of a good Samaritan, visible identification, and our 24/7 Reuniters Helpline!

“Arlo is a bit of an escape artist,” recalled Paula, Arlo’s owner. “Unless you’re absolutely on your toes with him, he flies the coop. He loves to sniff and snoop and there’s a lot of acres of land and wooded areas around here” that Arlo loves to explore.

One afternoon, Paula’s husband was watching Arlo and he took off! Arlo is often seen around the neighborhood on walks with his family, so he’s easily recognized!

“After he gave my husband ‘the slip’ he headed out to see what he could see,” said Paula. “He always wears the collar tag with his microchip information on it and some kind folks found him and were able to easily get in touch with AKC Reunite. I got a call within a few hours after he had disappeared and was able to locate him and get to him right away!”

“This was not Arlo’s first rodeo as AKC Reunite has had to contact us a few times in the past year but thankfully, we’ve always been able to locate and retrieve him within a short timeframe. Thanks for always locating him and getting him back home safely — I don’t know what we would do if we lost our little sweetheart!”
