In Chesapeake, VA, another family’s home was broken into where a safe, jewelry, guns, a pick-up truck, and their family dog, a Yorkshire Terrier were stolen. The dog was sold to a woman who then realized the dog may have been stolen and contacted the owner. The dog’s owner was accompanied by police and animal control escorts to be reunited with the dog. A microchip is a radio-frequency identification transponder that carries a unique identification number and is roughly the size of a grain of rice.
