Apple Pretzel Treats

INGREDIENTS

• 3 cups almond flour
• 1 egg
• 1 cup plan, unsweetened applesauce (xylitol-free)

DIRECTIONS

• Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
• In a large bowl mix applesauce and almond flour. In a separate bowl, beat egg. Take 1 Tbsp. of beaten egg and place in new bowl.
• Pour rest of beaten egg into applesauce and almond flour. Stir mixture to form dough.
• Take a 2 Tbsp. piece of dough and roll into a tube. Repeat with all dough. Then turn each tube into a “U” shape, then twist ends together. Fold back to make pretzel shape and place on tray. Brush with leftover egg.
• Bake for 25-30 minutes until slightly browned. Remove from oven and cool before serving.
