Aspen’s AKC Reunited!
REUNITED: In less than an hour
Early one morning, Aspen the Siberian Husky jumped over her fenced-in yard without her owner’s knowledge! Thankfully, her microchip is enrolled with AKC Reunite and with the help of a microchip scan, Aspen could be reunited the same morning!
“I woke up to a text message from AKC Reunite, then a phone call from my local animal hospital, as well as a phone call and voicemail from AKC Reunite to let me know my dog has been located,” said Staci, Aspen’s owner. “I didn’t even know she was outside in the fence!”
Completely baffled, Staci checked inside and outside and sure enough, Aspen was gone. Immediately, Staci took off to the animal hospital to reunite with her escape artist!
“When I went to pick her up, she was a several miles away at the Abilene Animal Hospital,” said Staci. “I appreciated the promptness of notifications from the Animal Hospital and AKC Reunite, so I get bring my runaway home!”
