Unbeknownst to Bentley’s owner, Janice, her Shih Tzu – Bichon Frise mixed breed dog (also known as a Teddy Bear!) escaped the confines of his yard. With the help of his collar tag and up-to-date records, he could be safely reunited!
“While outside, Bentley had somehow pushed open the yard gate and ran out onto the busy street,” recalled Janice. “Two gentlemen noticed him and stopped traffic to grab Bentley.”
Minutes later, Janice was contacted letting her some good Samaritans had found Bentley. Janice didn’t even realize Bentley was missing!
“I talked to AKC Reunite and they gave me the number of the guy who found Bentley,” said Janice. “The guy who found Bentley met my husband to return him to us. I think Bentley was gone for about 30 minutes before I got several calls and a text message saying he was found.
