Max’s Momentous Reunion
REUNITED: In a few minutes
While Max the Labrador Retriever’s owner was thousands of miles from home, Max went missing! Thankfully he was wearing his AKC Reunite collar tag and could be reunited minutes after his escape.
“I was in Hawaii and my son-in-law was watching Max while I was gone,” recalled Dan, Max’s owner. “Max somehow escaped from my son-in-law at a construction site while he was working.”
Max only wandered a block when he was found. The good Samaritan immediately contacted our 24/7 Reuniters Helpline phone number printed on Max’s collar tag. We were then able to reach Dan, to let him know his beloved Labrador Retriever was safe!
“I got a call and text from AKC Reunite about someone finding Max,” said Dan. “I called the finder and then my son-in-law and he was reunited quickly with Max. Thanks to AKC Reunite and a dog loving person, Max is home and happy again!”
