Milo’s Firework Escape
REUNITED: In one day!
On July 3rd, Milo the Vizsla took off after a firework display was set off near his home! Thankfully, he was wearing his personalized AKC Reunite collar tag and could be safely reunited after the following day.
“Milo ran off when a neighbor set off massive fireworks,” said Tony, Milo’s owner. “We looked for him all night and next morning. We remained hopeful someone would find him as he is a sweet and friendly dog!”
The next day, Milo was recovered by workers on a nearby farm and they called AKC Reunite’s 1-800 toll-free phone number printed on his collar tag. We put the workers in touch with Milo’s family and the reunion process was underway!
“The two gentlemen who found Milo were very kind and took us to him,” said Tony. “He was still very distressed and scared. We took him home and he quickly realized that his ordeal was over. He is still a bit noise sensitive but is close to his old self. Whole family is very thankful to everyone who helped us look for him, AKC Reunite, and the two guys who found him and took care of him!”
