Paxman’s Escape!
When an afternoon lunch turned into a lost pet search, the owner of Paxman, the Mini Australian Shepherd, was panicked! Thankfully her worry was short-lived when AKC Reunite contacted Paxman’s owner on his whereabouts.
“Our six month old Mini Aussie puppy came with us to have lunch in a friend’s backyard, which is fully fenced,” said Kate, Paxman’s owner. “He was exploring happily, but after about 5 minutes we realized we didn’t see him. He had apparently slipped through a tiny hole by the gate!”
Absolutely panicked, Kate, her husband, and their friends immediately began searching for Paxman. They also got into the car to cover more ground on their search! Less than 15 minutes later, Kate’s phone pinged with the good news.
“I got a text on my phone that he had been found by a close neighbor and was happily playing with their dog,” said Kate. “The neighbor used the AKC Reunite collar tag to contact us. I have never been so happy or so relieved, entirely thanks to AKC Reunite. Many, many thanks!
