Pearl’s Police Reunion
REUNITED: In a few minutes
Without her owners knowledge, Pearl the 11-month-old English Cream Golden Retriever escaped the safety of her fenced-in yard! Thanks to Pearl’s visible identification, a helpful police officer immediately kickstarted her reunion by filing an online found pet report with AKC Reunite!
“We are not sure how long she was gone, but when we realized it, we were off on the hunt to find her,” recalled Kristyn, Pearl’s owner. “While scouring our neighborhood I received a text message from AKC Reunite. I immediately contacted the number in the text and was reunited with Pearl within minutes!”
As it turns out, Pearl was found and taken to a local police department and they reported her missing online!
“It was unbelievable…The police officer immediately went to the AKC Reunite website and filed a found dog claim online for Pearl. Before he was able to call the AKC Reunite phone number, I had already been notified and I was calling him!”
