REUNITED: In the same day!

One afternoon, Pretty the Rottweiler Mix, took herself on a walk all by herself! Thankfully with the help of Animal Control and her microchip enrolled with AKC Reunite, Pretty was soon safe and found!

Being a Rottweiler Mix that is designed to protect her owner, Pretty can come off intimidating to others. “Pretty went to the apartment office and stood at the front door waiting to get her regular treat inside, but they were afraid,” said Marla. “But when Pretty went toward the highway to cross it, the woman in the apartment office ran outside with the treats,” to coerce Pretty inside.

Unfortunately, Pretty was not wearing any id tags and without her owner there, the office staff did not know who the pup belong to, so they contacted Animal Control.

Thankfully, Animal Control provided Pretty with treats as they scanned for her microchip. When the microchip was scanned, they called AKC Reunite, and we contacted Marla with the good news!
